X Topic Abstract

* What will be the impact of RPA on jobs as forecast to 2022? Latest research is suggesting massive net job creation - 133 million to be precise across all OECD countries!

* What types of people will you need to run successful RPA programs, from Executive level to coal face delivery and how will you attract and retain them?"

* What are the characteristics, pedigree and perspectives of RPA professionals who truly 'get' this consulting domain and how can you identify these attributes in candidates purporting to be RPA experts?

Speaker Profile

Greg is CEO of Tanna Partners, a boutique Executive Search Practice specialising in sourcing and securing highly prized talent across select disciplines unique to the Enterprise digital transformation-centric domains of Robotics, AI, Big Data and Analytics. Greg founded Tanna Partners in 2004 which has now undertaken more than 16,000 interviews in successfully completing hundreds of Search mandates for premium Vendors, SIs, Consultancies and Fortune 500 end-user organisations throughout the Asia-Pacific region.
Tanna Partners were recently judged as one of the Top 10 RPA vendors in the APAC region - the only Search consultancy to be included and awarded – with their success built on Greg’s philosophy that PEOPLE are the only genuine, sustainable point of differentiation (indeed survival) for the modern Enterprise. As the pace and urgency of the Robotics Revolution intensifies beyond POC towards production phase, the imperative to critique, attract and retain highest quality talent is only more paramount. Greg will share learnings from his extensive consulting in the field, including a ‘street-wise’ examination of the skills, knowledge and personal attributes essential for RPA success, the salaries involved, the traps to avoid and much more.

X Topic Abstract

RPA is dead, long live RPA! Tradition task-driven automation is going through the 'Trough of Disillusionment' because many adopters have not realized the ROI they were hoping for. However, a new star is rising over the horizon, Cognitive Automation will enable Straight-Through-Processing (STP) and will significantly improve customer experiences and satisfaction.

Speaker Profile

Jens Pistorius is the founder and Managing Director of Incepto, a Sydney based RPA consultancy firm.

X Topic Abstract

Luke will be taking us through his experience of establishing the Robotics Centre of Excellence for one of Australia's big four consulting firms focusing on lessons learned and other observations to help you foresee the potential pitfalls of an RPA/Intelligent Automation implementation.

X Topic Abstract

While automating repetitive and rule based processes delivers great value in term of efficiency as well as improved customer and employee experience in a short period of time, quite often AI solutions tend to take longer time to develop, require large investment and until now, many are experimental of nature.

X Topic Abstract

The workplace of the future - getting their ethically.

The future workplace will look very different to the present day but what challenges is that likely to present? What is (or is not) being done today by organisations to ensure that RPA deployments and future AI roadmaps are considering these ethical concerns? Who is accountable for thinking ethically and why does it feel that organisations aren't keeping this lens front of mind in their automation plans when Corporate Social Responsibility is such a key consideration? What is collaborative intelligence and are we building the right foundations now which will harness it?

We’ll work our way through an ethical view of organisational deployments of AI and understand what the impacts are today and whether we should be doing things differently to set ourselves up for future success.
