Overview

Process Automation technology is the next frontier for businesses looking to streamline processes, increase productivity and ultimately improve the bottom-line.

Process Automation typically uses artificial intelligence to handle repetitive, rules-based, back-office tasks. And the market is about to experience a period of "explosive" growth.

The RPA market grew 64 percent to $200 million last year and is expected to grow 70 to 90 percent by 2020 because successful pilot projects are inspiring buyer confidence in the technology, the consulting and research firm reports.

However, there are some barriers to adoption, such as IT departments concerned about data security and loss of control.

Join us at World Intelligent Robotic Process Automation Summit in May to hear from subject matter experts currently evaluating process automation for their businesses in areas such as Finance, Procurement, Automation, etc.

This event covers the array of process automation technologies including, machine learning, AI, .Digital Process Automation, Digital Transformation, RPA and more.

Topic Abstract

This decade started off with just 2 of the largest enterprise, my market cap, being tech company now non-tech companies are only 3 in that list. In this era of rapidly evolving and clustering of emerging technologies, for large enterprises to embark on Digital transformation and reap quantified benefit has become a mirage. The true way to achieve exponential outcome from Digital Transformation is to Digitally Deconstruct the current process and reconstruct them via RPA & AI to create Intelligent Process. This intelligent process fabric on one end will interface & orchestrate with myriad technologies / platforms(blockchain, quantum computing, cloud etc) and at other end engage with Digital Workers. By underpinning the Digital Transformation initiative, IPA will truly maximize Human Achievements and achieve quantifiable business benefits.

Topic Abstract

Robotic Process Automation (RPA) is the new holy grail of Office Productivity and Business profitability. RPA along with Artificial Intelligence (AI), Data Analytics (DA) and Internet of Things (IOT) is considered a quad-horse driven chariot set for glory on the business battlefield. However, a plethora of deadly weapons does not guarantee a win as many find out. Frequently the chariot can get struck in mud, fatigued horses slow it down and disoriented charioteer can spell doom. The right battle strategy and focused soldiers are more important.
Automation is a mere tool in the hands of the corporate change agent. It’s the secret sauce of Organization culture and mindset which drives a clearly articulated digital transformation roadmap to a home run. Success or failure is largely based on how the employees and business partners are aligned to the transformation journey. An Agile culture helps them shrug of their fixed mindsets towards a growth oriented though process where they are willing to experiment and fail in a startup culture.
The end goal of automation should be to help organizations solve business problems by exponential steps, reinvent or revamp new business models and provide acceleration to horizontal value streams (business processes).
This session will attempt to understand how organization culture and mindset can nurture and feed successin an iterative fashionof new automation initiative. It will also explore justification of investment in new automation paradigm by avoiding the traps of incremental improvements and instead focus on innovative and transformational outcomes.

Financial Industry, by nature, is a late mover to adopt “changes”. However as Fintech disrupts the competition landscape, it demands thought leadership around adoption of newer technology to bring efficiency and speed, save cost and move from a product-centric to customer-centric model. This session focuses on the driving factors behind embracing RPA in Fintech age, and the right-fit adoption path towards AI/ML powered intelligent automation, as part of the “digital transformation” journey.
