Ways to convince Your Boss Ways to Save
Overview

RPA, Cognitive and AI technology is the next frontier for businesses looking to streamline processes, increase productivity and ultimately improve the bottom-line.

RPA typically uses artificial intelligence to handle repetitive, rules-based, back-office tasks. And the market is about to experience a period of "explosive" growth.

The RPA market grew 64 percent to $200 million last year and is expected to grow 70 to 90 percent by 2019 because successful pilot projects are inspiring buyer confidence in the technology, the consulting and research firm reports.

However, there are some barriers to adoption, such as IT departments concerned about data security and loss of control. Plus, replacing staff with robots in some sectors, such as government, could become a political minefield.

Join us at RPA Summit in August to hear from subject matter experts currently evaluating RPA for their businesses in areas such as Finance, Procurement, HR, Outsourcing, Automation, etc.

Topic Abstract

Artificial Intelligence (AI) is becoming increasingly common in the workplace. In our age of digital transformation, organizations need to adjust and innovate to stay competitive, and workers need to develop new competencies to work with AI-related technologies. Organizations and employees need to reskill and upskill, and the concept of lifelong experiential learning unleashes the capacities of aspiring individuals as well as providing support to a growing need of agile, entrepreneurial, robot-proof makers and doers in the era of AI.

Topic Abstract

Internal and environmental challenges require Tax to be nimble and accurate in providing information the enterprise needs for business decisions as well as complying with increasingly complex rules and calculations for tax jurisdiction reporting.
Tax needs to consider innovative ways to collect and process financial data, moving away from manual manipulation and reconciliation to more forward-thinking analytics for real-time decision-making.
The recent trend towards "small automation" empowers Tax professionals to be innovative without the need for big IT involvement, using Extract, Transform and Load (ETL) solutions for pulling and analyzing source system data. Visualization tools are also being used to enhance the quality and dynamic display of data for dashboard and presentation purposes. However, AI has the power to do so much more.

With the widespread adoption of electronic medical records (EMRs) and recent advances in machine learning, AI has come to the forefront in clinical technology. However, translating AI solutions into real-world clinical workflows is a challenge due to the amount of noise in the data, standardization and interoperability issues, and the complexity of clinical practice and workflows.
At Droice, we leverage massive repositories of clinical data to build AI solutions that deeply understand diseases and help providers make better decisions for their patients. From data access through NLP/NLU to building complex models of disease, this presentation will describe Droice Labs technology and address strategies for translating AI into deployable hospital solutions.
