Ways to convince Your Boss Ways to Save
Overview

Intelligent Robotic Process Automation Summit is the next frontier for businesses looking to streamline processes, increase productivity and ultimately improve the bottom-line.

RPA typically uses artificial intelligence to handle repetitive, rules-based, back-office tasks. And the market is about to experience a period of "explosive" growth.

The RPA market grew 64 percent to $200 million last year and is expected to grow 70 to 90 percent by 2019 because successful pilot projects are inspiring buyer confidence in the technology, the consulting and research firm reports.

However, there are some barriers to adoption, such as IT departments concerned about data security and loss of control. Plus, replacing staff with robots in some sectors, such as government, could become a political minefield.

Join us at Intelligent Robotic Process Automation Summit in December to hear from subject matter experts currently evaluating RPA for their businesses in areas such as Finance, Procurement, HR, Outsourcing, Automation, etc.

Topic Abstract

Based on my personal experience, I like to summarize the most important considerations for anyone starting out on IA.
These key themes have been corroborated by what I hear from the community. You can now start out better and scale, thanks to lessons learnt from early adopters and the trials and tribulations they have gone through

I am passionate about technology. My background is in Intelligent Automation, Consulting, and Program management. Through Innomatiq, I help clients automate with Robotic Process Automation (RPA) and Cognitive technologies.
Through automation of business and IT processes, I have helped organizations identify and deliver high ROI Automation solutions. My specialty is in helping clients discover the possibilities with RPA & AI, pilot the implementation, manage the change and lay the right foundations to scale.
I was most recently the head of RPA Consultancy at Fujitsu America where I helped enable the Fujitsu Digital Workforce offering. The offering used robotic process automation and cognitive capabilities to enable Digital Labor for enterprises. We helped clients understand the benefits of intelligent automation and implement them through the right People, Process and Technology.

Topic Abstract

As enterprises aggressively innovate and co-create with third parties, they must be just as aggressive with tools to measure and track risk identification, controls, compliance, and governance. In today’s rapid design, test, and implementation cycles, enterprises must establish sophisticated governance protocols so that they are not blindsided by third party risk vectors.

Topic Abstract

Many companies plan in departmental silos. Changes to plans (even routine) have historically been highly technical, IT-led initiatives. Newer cloud-based EPM offerings, such as Anaplan, promise to move ownership and maintenance away from IT to the business users. While largely effective, a bottleneck remains - data. Data must be extracted from the source system(s), manipulated, loaded into the EPM tool, extracted from the EPM tool when planning is complete and loaded into the target system(s). Currently, RPA offers a compelling, flexible alternative to ETL tools. While this is around the extent of the current use of automation in connected planning, developments in intelligent automation, especially machine learning, promise to uncover and display insights automatically from the data within the EPM tools.
